Globally, the Adventist Church operates 600 hospitals, aged care facilities and healthcare facilities. A spirit of Christianity has inspired our evolution, and ensured that we live by our values. As a not-for-profit organisation, our purpose is to benefit our community (not shareholders). So, all our proceeds are reinvested back into our services and facilities, enabling us to keep providing the best possible care. Adventist HealthCare employs over 2,300 staff members and is supported by 300 volunteers and approximately 1,000 accredited medical practitioners, providing world-class expertise and care for thousands of people each year. Our reputation for exceptional care is built on the continuous provision of leading medical & surgical care, underpinned by the expertise, commitment and compassion of our people, and our faith-based approach to caring for the whole person.
